FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are the power requirements for installing a sauna or a full-body Red Light Therapy bed?
Most of our professional-grade Red Light Therapy beds and infrared saunas require a dedicated 220V–240V outlet, similar to a clothes dryer or large kitchen appliance. Smaller, portable units and soft-shell hyperbaric chambers typically run on standard 110V household outlets. We recommend consulting the specific product manual or a licensed electrician to ensure your home’s electrical panel can support the amperage of larger units.
2. Are your hyperbaric chambers and light therapy devices certified for safety?
Yes. Our products are sourced from manufacturers who prioritize international safety standards. Many of our devices carry CE, RoHS, or FCC certifications. Our hyperbaric chambers are built with medical-grade materials and feature high-strength, pressure-tested components to ensure a secure and controlled environment during every session.
3. How do I maintain the hygiene of my sauna or hyperbaric chamber?
For saunas, we recommend wiping down benches with a damp cloth after use and using floor mats to collect perspiration. Hyperbaric chambers should be cleaned with non-toxic, medical-grade disinfectant wipes or a mild soap solution. Always ensure the interior is completely dry before sealing the unit for storage or next use.
4. What safety features are included in the hyperbaric chambers?
Safety is our primary focus. Our chambers include internal and external pressure gauges, emergency pressure relief valves, and redundant air filtration systems. Soft-shell units also feature double-layered zippers and reinforced seams to maintain consistent pressure without risk of leakage.
5. How long and how often should I use Red Light Therapy?
For full-body beds, a typical session ranges from 10 to 20 minutes. For targeted devices, 5 to 10 minutes per area is standard. Most users see optimal results with 3 to 5 sessions per week. However, we always recommend starting with shorter durations to assess your body’s sensitivity.
6. Do the Red Light Therapy beds emit harmful UV rays or EMF?
No. Our Red Light Therapy equipment utilizes specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light that do not contain UV spectrums. Additionally, our premium models are engineered with Low-EMF (Electromagnetic Field) technology, ensuring a safe recovery environment that aligns with biohacking safety standards.
7. Can I operate a hyperbaric chamber by myself?
Our home-use hyperbaric chambers are designed for solo operation. They feature internal controls and easy-access zippers that allow you to enter, seal, and manage the pressure settings from the inside. We do, however, recommend having a phone nearby or a person in the house during your first few sessions until you are comfortable with the process.
8. What is the difference between an Infrared Sauna and a Traditional Dry Heat Sauna?
Traditional saunas use heat to warm the air around you, which then warms your body. Infrared saunas use light to create heat that penetrates the body directly without significantly raising the air temperature. This allows for a deeper sweat at a more comfortable, lower ambient temperature, making it ideal for longer recovery sessions.
9. Are there any contraindications for using hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
While HBOT is safe for most people, individuals with certain conditions—such as untreated pneumothorax, certain types of lung disease, or recent ear surgery—should avoid use. We strongly advise consulting with a healthcare professional before starting hyperbaric therapy, especially if you have chronic health conditions or are pregnant.
10. How do I prepare my space for a full-sized recovery unit?
Ensure the floor is level and capable of supporting the weight of the unit (especially for heavy Himalayan Salt saunas or hard-shell chambers). Provide at least 6–12 inches of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation. For cold plunges or hot tubs, ensure there is a nearby drainage point and a water-resistant floor surface.
